For nearly 20 years, Luke has advised both the public and private sector on the legal and commercial aspects of major infrastructure and resource projects. Most recently, Luke has established a renewable energy company, with a particular focus on the development of large scale PV solar projects. Luke was previously a partner of a leading Australian law firm.

Clark Keating

Clark is a Senior Project Manager with experience in buildings, infrastructure and resources. Most recently, Clark successfully developed and managed three large residential and aged-care unit projects in excess of $50mm. Clark has ten years experience as a professional AFL player with the Brisbane Lions and is the current Chairman of the Brisbane Lions Foundation.

Shane O'Kane

Shane has over 30 years experience in structured financing transactions across a range of industry sectors. He specialises in bespoke solutions for transactions that involve multiple stakeholders. He has firsthand knowledge of accounting for rehabilitation liabilities from his work as Audit Committee Chair for a company with future mining rehabilitation liabilities; experience with emerging innovations and research organisations in developing cost-effective rehabilitation solutions; and involvement in the agricultural and renewable energy sectors.

Neil has over 40 years’ experience in the delivery of large infrastructure projects from up front inception, design, construction and due diligence for potential acquisitions. Neil has sat on numerous Project Boards and Leadership Teams and fulfilled the role of Project Director for major projects around Australia.

Professor Robin Batterham

Professor Batterham AO FRENG FAA FTSE is a chemical engineer and mining engineer specialising in mineral processing, waste remediation and sustainable mining practices. Professor Batterham is the Kernot Professor of Engineering at Melbourne University and formerly the Chief Scientist of Australia, President of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, and Group Chief Scientist for Rio Tinto.

Jim Soorley

Jim Soorley was the Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 1991 to 2003, presiding over an annual budget of $1.6 billion and a workforce of 7,000. Jim lists his greatest achievement as Lord Mayor as transforming Brisbane from a city with a ‘country town’ mentality into a vibrant urban metropolis, without compromising its liveability. He has worked as a consultant for government and business on issues including sustainable development, partnerships between government and corporations, and environmental initiatives. Jim holds board positions at Unitywater and CS Energy.
